Peter Collins Simpson, 28, an employee of the Boy Scouts of America has been arrested for sex abuse of a minor in Molalla, Oregon according to police. On Feb. 1, a Molalla Police officer was on patrol when he came across a car after hours at a park. The officer interviewed the driver identified as 28-year-old Peter Collins Simpson. Police then interviewed a minor in the back seat of the vehicle. The Molalla Police Department says information provided by the minor led to the arrest of Simpson for the charge of Sex Abuse III. A former Boy Scouts leader has been charged with sexually abusing a minor in Salem over several years. Prosecutors charged Terry J. Heck, 56 of Salem, on Friday with first-degree sexual abuse, first-degree online sexual corruption of a child and luring a minor, according to court documents. The charges allege that Heck subjected a boy to sexual contact between January 2017 and July 2023.  The victim was 11 years old when the abuse began.
