A 32-year-old Enid man is being held in lieu of $1 million bond following his arrest for the years-long sexual abuse of an underaged girl.

Scott Allen Bartts was arrested following an interview Feb. 25 with Detective Randy Wilson.

Bartts was arrested on complaints of manufacturing child pornography, forcible oral sodomy, first-degree rape and lewd acts to a child under 12.

Enid Police Department was contacted at 5:04 a.m. Feb. 25, after nude images of the 15-year-old victim were discovered on Bartts' cellphone.

When initially questioned at his residence, Bartts admitted to taking the nude photographs to officers, who then escorted Bartts to the police station for an interview with detectives.

During his interview with Detective Wilson, Bartts described how he'd groomed the girl for sexual abuse over a period of years, admitting to molesting and raping the girl multiple times and taking photographs of her with his phone.

Bartts was arrested on the above complaints following his interview and is scheduled for arraignment in Garfield County District Court tomorrow morning.
