- Charging documents show prosecutors charged Rikki Lyn Laughlin, 25, with promoting obscenity in the first degree, furnishing pornographic material to a minor, attempted statutory rape in the second degree, tampering with a witness, possession of child pornography, and tampering with physical evidence.

- A probable cause statement against Laughlin alleges she sent pornographic videos of herself to a 16-year-old student and received child sex abuse material from him. It alleges Laughlin invited the student to her home and said she wanted to have sex with him. 

- The probable cause statement goes on to say that Laughlin told the student to delete videos and photos from his phone because people at school had become aware of them talking on social media. 

- Police interviewed Laughlin at her home regarding the allegations. Police said Laughlin admitted to talking with the student on Snapchat. When told the videos and photos she sent were to a minor, she claimed she “was not aware he was a minor” until the day before the detective talked to her.
