Bradberry worked at Kanakuk Kamps as a counselor and Unit Coordinator (UC) from at least 2008-2011. Parents reported Bradberry’s 2009 grooming and predatory behavior to current K-Kountry director Collin Sparks in 2009 and 2010, and instead of firing Bradberry, Sparks promoted him to UC, a position described as “helping campers and staff with activities, discipleship teaching and adventure experiences.” Bradberry was convicted of abuse that occurred in 2011 after the camp had implemented and promoted its Kanakuk Child Protection Plan. Arrested in 2012 for sexual abuse of multiple young boys, he was sentenced in 2013 to four years for sexual misconduct involving a child under 14, seven years for statutory sodomy, and two 10-year sentences for child molestation, to be served concurrently. He was released on parole and now resides in Pelham, Alabama with records showing he runs and operates Spratlin Design Company, LLC registered in Birmingham, Alabama.
