Melissa Pastor Martinez-Ordonez, 38, was booked into the Escambia County Jail Friday morning following an alleged case of child abuse and human trafficking. 

Charged with:

- Health-Safety Sell Transport Custody of a Minor for Human Trafficking

- Cruelty Toward a Child - Sell Minor for Involvement in Pornography

- Use of a Two Way Communication Device to Facilitate a Felony

During the investigation, special agents determined that Martinez-Ordonez allegedly sold a 14-year-old female for sex and child pornography.

“After this incident was disclosed to law enforcement in Foley, Melissa Martinez was engaged in communications with suspects in this matter where Martinez demanded money from the suspects under threat of reporting them to law enforcement if the suspects failed to pay her.“
