Matthew Antonio Zakrzewski, a 34-year-old child care service provider from Costa Mesa was sentenced Friday to 707 years and eight months to life in prison for molesting 16 boys, aged 2 to 14, and showing another victim child pornography.

- Sentenced Wednesday to 18 months in state prison for sexually abusing a 15-year-old camper - Engaged in a sexual relationship with a camper at Boy Scouts of America Camp No-Be-Bo-Sco in Hardwick Township back in 2011 - Engaged in various sexual acts with the minor while working the medical tent at the camp - Skeele pleaded guilty to criminal sexual contact. This charge was tacked on to federal child porn charges in 2020. He is currently serving a federal prison sentence for distributing child sexual abuse material.

Turner was accused in 2018 of raping a teenage girl and then another. While out on bond for the second case, he was charged with raping a third girl. Turner was ordered to be on house arrest as he awaited trial. Court documents show that Turner violated the conditions of his bond over 50 times to go to restaurants, stores and out of the state.   Turner was initially facing criminal sexual conduct charges and made a deal with prosecutors in April 2022. Luis Jesus Barajas, 76, a former priest accused of “inappropriately touching” a 15-year-old Westlake girl sick with cancer while giving her a blessing, was indicted on six counts of gross sexual imposition by a grand jury. Witnesses told police Barajas used blankets and clothing to to hide his actions and his movements during the blessing were “unconventional.” Another Catholic priest learned of the incident and reported it to police on Oct. 20. Barajas was accused of sexual misconduct involving juveniles in the Diocese of Harrisburg, PA around 1989 and sent back to Columbia, said Westlake police.

The boy said he regularly got called to Schutte’s office throughout the rest of the school year and missed class at times. The boy said he and Schutte repeatedly had sexual contact in both Bucks and Montgomery counties in June and July of 2023.  The boy also said he and Schutte communicated through the school district’s messaging app “Canvas” as well as the social media app Snapchat.  While searching through the boy’s cellphone, police found messages between him and Schutte as well as pictures of them together at her home in Pennsburg, according to the criminal complaint. Brad Benson, a candidate in Tuesday’s Granbury city council election, was arrested Monday morning on felony charges of possession of child pornography, according to Hood County Jail records. Benson’s family business is Cinergy Cinemas with nine theater/entertainment complexes in four states. In 2018, Benson was named as a lifetime member of the Granbury volunteer fire department for his many years of answering emergency calls throughout Hood County. He also served on the Granbury Airport Advisory board and the Hood County Crime Stoppers board.
