LUFKIN, Texas (KTRE) - A former Wells ISD teacher already facing child- and animal-related sexual crimes has been arrested again after a child made an outcry.

Hillary Danielle Williams, 34, of Lufkin, is now charged with indecency with a child and is being held on a $200,000 bond. The new charge is in addition to a charge of possession of child pornography and bestiality.

According to an arrest affidavit obtained by KTRE through an open records request, a child made an outcry on April 28 that Williams had touched her inappropriately two months earlier.

Williams and her boyfriend, Michael Scott McCary, 38, of Lufkin, were arrested in February after evidence was discovered on McCary’s cellphone of pornographic images involving a child and a dog.

An investigator with the Angelina County Sheriff’s Office obtained a warrant for Williams’ arrest on June 5. Williams was arrested on Tuesday.

A grand jury has indicted Williams and McCary on the previous charges. They are scheduled to appear in court on July 22.

Williams has resigned from Wells ISD.
